The Illinois Association of Educational Office Professionals is the only state professional organization for educational support personnel. IAEOP recognizes the unique role of educational office personnel and the important contributions they make to the profession.

The Association is governed by membership-adopted bylaws. Officers and directors are elected by the membership through a mail ballot. Directors represent the geographic areas of the State thus ensuring representation on the executive board for all members.
